The company:Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known automotive manufacturing company.Due to large expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced CNC Miller with Programming Setting/Operating experience to join and be part of their manufacturing workshop team. Offering a range of benefits including flexi-start time, private healthcare, generous holiday allowance and more, this is an excellent time to join this fast-expanding company.The successful candidate will be a CNC Miller - Programmer/setter/operator, to programme, set and operate 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain control system.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

Programming from scratch using Hypermill software and Heidenhain controls.

Tooling selection, setter and operation of machinery.

Working to precise engineering drawings

Involved in producing small batch work and one-offs.

Working to health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience required:

Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment-Automotive or Aerospace-is desirable.

Experience of programming CMC mills using Heidenhain control systems.

Able to set and operate CNC Machinery

Hypermill experience would be highly advantageous.

Ability to read and work to engineering drawings.
