A large, welcoming Specialist SEN School in Ilford is seeking a dedicated Male Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.This rewarding role involves working closely with male students who have Autism and a range of learning difficulties, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.

(Please note: this position requires a male due to the personal care needs of male students.)

The successful Male Teaching Assistant will be:

• Experienced in SEN support, youth work, community care, or education.

• Patient, adaptable, and compassionate with strong communication skills.

• Confident working 1:1 or in small groups, building positive relationships with students.

• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and professional conduct in schools.

• A positive team player who brings energy, empathy, and initiative to every day.

• (Bonus) Skilled in PECS, Makaton, Signalong, or Team Teach - desirable but not essential.
