Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a background in financial services? My client, a well-established wealth management practice, is looking for a proactive and dedicated Operations Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading firm that provides a comprehensive range of services, including investment planning, retirement solutions, and tailored financial advice. In this role, you will support a diverse client base, ranging from those with modest investments to high-net-worth individuals, while ensuring smooth operations and compliance within the practice.
Your key responsibilities will include overseeing client reviews from start to finish, liaising directly with clients, managing disinvestments, and ensuring seamless case management. You will also support the acquisition of new clients, retain existing relationships, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for HR and office management, including handling holiday requests, KPI reports, and payroll for the team, while maintaining an efficient, organised environment. You'll use CRM systems to track new business, manage legislative changes, and ensure that all client documents are compliant and up to date.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a financial services practice, with a strong background in administration, paraplanning, and client servicing. You should also have HR experience, with the ability to support staff development and ensure compliance. A proactive attitude, combined with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will be key to your success. Strong knowledge of pensions and investments, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials Plus is essential, along with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for someone who has a passion for the financial services sector and a commitment to continuous professional development.
In return, you'll receive a competitive benefits package, including 23 days of annual leave, pension, life insurance, and support for ongoing training and professional development, including access to system training, bespoke 1-1 sessions, workshops, and qualifications like the Diploma in Financial Planning.
If you're looking for a rewarding role in a growing firm with excellent career prospects, we'd love to hear from you. Please contact Jo at Financial Divisions to discuss the role in more detail.
