Location: Godalming High Street, Surrey (Remote or Hybrid options available)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 PA

Start Date: January 2026

Your Role:

• Create detailed 2D technical drawings for steel fabrication based on specifications and customer requirements.
• Review and check drawings prepared by other draughtsmen.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Update and revise drawings based on design changes or client feedback.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve technical issues during production at our workshop in Oldbury, West Midlands.

What We're Looking For in a Draughtsman:

Skills & Attributes:

• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and creative mindset.

Experience:

• Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with document management systems.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and file-sharing platforms.
