We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join an experienced regional contractor in London. Our client is renowned for delivering high-quality new build, fit-out, and cladding projects across the region.

The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing costs and contracts throughout the project lifecycle. This is an office-based position located in SE1, where you will collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Monitor and manage project costs, providing reports to senior management.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and financial reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
