Fresh Direct is a top UK food business and a proud part of Sysco GB - the world's leading foodservice company. We're growing across the country and aiming to be the absolute best in our industry. So join us in our Dagenham Depot as Drivers Mate and take your career to the next level.

A satisfying role

At Fresh Direct, Drivers Mate is a great opportunity to work as part of the team with our HGV drivers enroute, and our ongoing coaching afterwards means you can develop at your own pace.

As a multi-drop Drivers Mate, there'll never be a dull day. Delivering to a wide range of customers on well-planned routes, there will be some element of picking stock at each drop which breaks the driving up and keeps you active.

What you bring to the mix

As someone who genuinely cares about providing a great service for customers and colleagues, you have what it takes to make a difference here:

• a good eye for detail and accuracy
• like being part of a team
• basic language skills and the ability to perform simple calculations
• comfortable working in a cold environment
• the ability to lift up to 25kg.

Bags of benefits

We take care of our people. On our team, you'll be able to take your pick from everything from a pension scheme and generous holiday to family-friendly flexibility and ongoing training. You'll get fantastic discounts on our delicious products too.
