Buyer - Residential Developer - Surrey

A leading residential developer is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team and support their growing portfolio of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality residential developments, including low-rise and high-rise schemes, with project values ranging from 15m to 30m.

Role

• Position: Buyer
• Location: Surrey
• Rate/Salary: 300 - 425 p/d or 65k - 75k (plus package)

Duties May Include:

• Procuring materials for residential developments
• Negotiating contracts to ensure best value and quality
• Managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely deliveries
• Supporting the commercial team in cost management and budgeting
• Benchmarking prices and identifying new suppliers where required

Requirements

• Strong experience working as a Buyer in residential construction
• Knowledge of procurement processes, material costs, and supplier management
• Ability to negotiate contracts and secure competitive pricing
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Experience working with housebuilders or residential developers is highly desirable
