Senior Drainage Engineer

We re working with a well established infrastructure consultancy looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer to join their growing team. They re after someone with a strong consultancy background who can take projects from feasibility through to detailed drainage design. If you re comfortable with Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and both highway and on-plot drainage design, this could be a great fit.

What they re looking for:

• 5+ years experience in drainage design within a UK consultancy.
• A solid understanding of SuDS, Section 104/106/185, DMRB, and Sewerage Sector Guidance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Site 3D, and InfoDrainage (or similar software).
• The ability to manage projects, mentor junior engineers, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies.
• Chartered status (or working towards it) is a plus, but not essential.

If you ve also got some highway design experience (S278/S38), vehicle tracking, or ground modelling knowledge, that s a bonus but the main focus is drainage.
