Accounts Senior/Semi-Senior

CMA are pleased to be working with a reputable firm based in central Guildford who are looking to add to their accounts team. This firm is a multi-disciplinary accountancy and business advisory practice, who has recently merged with a Top 50 practice which only enhances their offerings to both clients and employees.

This role will involve working with partners and other staff to provide a personal, professional service for the benefit of both clients and the firm.

What will the Accounts Senior/Semi-Senior role involve?

• Preparation of financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, groups, charities and academies.
• Preparing year end working paper files and assisting auditors.
• Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts.
• Working at clients premises on their computer systems, liaising with the bookkeeper/director to prepare accounts and discuss results
• Assisting with the training and supervision of junior members of staff.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Senior/Semi-Senior vacancy:

• ACA/ACCA qualified, or currently sitting advanced/final exams.
• Practice experience.
• Experience of CCH Accounts Production and Xero software is desirable.
• Ideally able to drive with own vehicle, due to client locations.
• Keen to learn and develop, with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
