Nursery Bank Staff Level 3

Sourcing Pro Recruitment Ltd is urgently recruiting a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a professional early years team. The core purpose of this role is to work as part of a team providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children can develop to their full potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and maintaining a high standard of care and education for all children:

• To plan and deliver care and education that meets the requirements of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• To support the recording of key observations on the children's play, behaviour, and development using the statutory and non-statutory guidance.
• To support other staff in helping children to learn, grow, and develop.

• To ensure all policies, practices, procedures, and curriculum planning are delivered to reflect diversity and that they consider the needs of each individual child.
• To be aware of children's dietary, cultural, personal, and medical needs.
• To maintain suitable nursery routines whilst also considering the individual child's needs.
• To ensure children are offered a safe environment by carrying out regular risk assessments.

• To work as part of a team across all nursery operations.
• To be flexible and willing to work in all areas of the nursery.
• To maintain and develop good communication with colleagues, children, parent/carers, and other professionals.
• To work in partnership with all outside agencies for the best possible outcome for the individual child.

• A recognised Early Years qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.
• Demonstrable commitment to promoting safety and carrying out effective risk assessments.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with parents and outside agencies.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
