Salary: £18.14 per hour (40 hours per week)
Sleep-In Rate: £70.50 per sleep-in
Contract Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ofsted Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team at a dual-registration EBD home. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a well-supported, dynamic environment.

As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home operates in compliance with Ofsted standards, providing high-quality care and support for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Registered Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the home
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff
• Develop and implement care plans for residents
• Promote a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Foster positive relationships with families, external agencies, and professionals

Requirements:

• Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Experience in a senior role within a children s residential care setting
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage and support a team effectively
• A driving license is strongly preferred

Additional Information:

• The role requires flexibility with a variable shift pattern across the 7 days of the week. A fixed pattern is not available.
• Sleep-in shifts are part of the role, paid at £70.50 per sleep-in.
