Trusted Supply are currently looking for 2 x FIREWATCH PERSONs

For work in Central London

Job Summary: The Firewatch Person will be responsible for monitoring designated areas for potential fire hazards, ensuring compliance with fire safety protocols, and taking appropriate actions in the event of a fire emergency. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and well-being of all personnel and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular fire watches during high-risk activities such as welding, cutting, or working with flammable materials.
• Maintain a constant presence in the designated area, ensuring that fire safety measures are being followed.
• Identify and report potential fire hazards and take immediate action to mitigate risks.
• Operate fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment as required.
• Alert emergency services and notify supervisors in case of a fire or hazard.
• Document fire watch activities and report findings to management.
• Ensure that fire exits and equipment are accessible and in working condition.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a firewatch or safety-related role preferred.
• Knowledge of fire safety protocols and equipment.
• Ability to remain vigilant and focused for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to report incidents clearly.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
