Mechanical Construction Manager

Salter Grange is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join a Leading Engineering Contractor on a £40m Mechanical package in Central London.

We are open to candidates' backgrounds but ideally, you will be exposed to large fast track construction projects such as industrial, Aviation, Healthcare, Pharma or Commercial Experience.

Mechanical Construction Manager Responsibilities:

• Working directly with project teams to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Provide off site technical support to construction teams on projects, with travel to sites also required.
• Develop and agree on design processes and design deliverables.
• Assist in the continual improvement of the QA System and execute project reviews.
• Provide technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing and project bid teams.
• Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including, design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc.
• Assist in ensuring systems are handed over to the client

Mechanical Construction Manager Requirements:

• Ideally 5+ years previous experience managing large projects and sub-contractors.
• Experience of client, vendor and contractor interaction and management.
• In-depth knowledge of all mechanical systems.
