We are pleased to support in recruiting a Casual Duty Officer to oversee operations across three key sports facilities:

About the Role

As a Casual Duty Officer, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the Council s sports facilities, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the sports facilities
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to enquiries
• Supervise and manage staff to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure health and safety compliance for staff and customers
• Act as a key holder, responsible for facility security and maintenance
• Maintain vending machines and oversee pool plant operations
• Undertake emergency and routine maintenance as needed

What You Need

• GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Leadership or management qualification (or equivalent experience)
• RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (dependent on location)
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate (dependent on location)
• Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle
