Art and Design Teacher

A well-respected secondary school based in Southall, Ealing, is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Art Teacher to start after half term February 2025. The school is looking for a candidate to begin on a long-term contract until July 2025. This position is full-time, but the school is open to part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The salary will match the inner London MPS/UPS scale. Parking is available on-site.

Art Teacher:

• Provide expert knowledge in the teaching of Art and design, inspiring students to explore their creativity.
• Encourage students to develop technical skills while fostering their individual artistic expression.
• Support students in developing a strong understanding of artistic techniques, theory, and history.
• Play a key role in creating a positive, safe, and challenging environment for students to reach their full potential.
• Embrace and support the ethos of both day and boarding school life.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A relevant degree in Art or a related subject.
• Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Approachable and supportive attitude.
