40 per hour

Reading based- hybrid/remote available

• Determination of power cable cross-sectional areas in compliance with BS7671.
• Creation of Block Cable Diagrams for power, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Design and specification of power distribution and control equipment.
• Development and specification of earthing systems and lightning protection solutions.
• Verification of protective device discrimination in low-voltage (LV) distribution systems.
• Sizing and routing of cable containment systems.
• Proficiency in cable calculation software, such as Trimble (Amtech) ProDesign, is essential, while familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit and Dialux/Relux is highly desirable.
• The ability to interpret P&IDs, MCC layouts, and electrical panel schematic diagrams is required.
• Knowledge of PLCs, as well as communications and network cabling, would be an asset.
• Experience with ATEX design in compliance with DSEAR is advantageous; however, full formal training can be provided if needed.
