Permit Manager (Mechanical or Electrical Background)
Location: Wandsworth, London
Salary: 55,000 - 60,000 per annum
Site: Single-site role

We are seeking a Permit Manager, for a key client, with a mechanical or electrical background to join a leading facilities management team in Wandsworth. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in managing permit-to-work systems, compliance, and safety procedures within a building services or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Permit to Work system, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
• Liaise with contractors, engineers, and site teams to coordinate work permits effectively
• Ensure all mechanical and electrical activities are carried out safely and efficiently
• Conduct audits and inspections to maintain high safety and compliance standards
• Work closely with the engineering and facilities management teams to support site operations

Requirements:

• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent)
• Experience in permit-to-work systems within a building services, construction, or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
