A growing businessis seeking a HAVC Water Treatment Lead Commissioning Engineer to join its expanding team. This opportunity would suit those residing in the London / South London area where your expertise in performing Pre-Commissioning water treatment activities will help drive our business to ever greater commercial success

You'll be responsible for commissioning HVAC systems, boilers and pipework across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Water treatment knowledge & experience is essential for this role.

What you'll be doing as HAVC Water Treatment Lead Commissioning Engineer:

• Performing pre-commission cleaning of HVAC water treatment systems, boilers, and pipework using appropriate chemicals, equipment, and methods in line with industry standards, within set timeframes and budgets
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment for all team members on-site at all times
• Communicating effectively with clients and team members, providing daily feedback, project updates, and reporting issues or concerns to management
• Maintaining accurate work records, staying updated on industry best practices and technologies, and supporting training and guidance for assistants and team members as needed
• Coordinating closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors during installation and commissioning, while providing technical support and guidance to clients and team members
• Conducting air and water balancing by adjusting dampers, valves, and air handling units, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and health and safety legislation
• Preparing comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test results and system configurations, and identify opportunities to enhance system performance or reduce energy consumption

We're looking for a HAVC Water Treatment Lead Commissioning Engineer with:

• Valid SSSTS and CSCS certifications
• Proven experience in pre-commission cleaning of HVAC water treatment systems, boilers, and pipework, with strong knowledge of related industry regulations and standards
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
