Site Engineer - Major Highways Project (Wisley, Surrey)
Location: Wisley, Surrey
Rate: 350- 400 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 6 months (Freelance)

We are looking for multiple Site Engineers to join a major highways infrastructure project in Wisley, Surrey. This is a freelance opportunity offering a competitive daily rate of 350- 400 (inside IR35) for an initial 6-month contract.
The role will involve delivering key elements of highway construction, including S278 works, roundabout construction, and major infrastructure projects. Successful candidates will have strong highways experience, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and site teams.

• 
  Set out and oversee highways, S278 works, and roundabout construction.
• 
  Ensure compliance with design specifications, project requirements, and health & safety regulations.
• 
  Work closely with Site Agents, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate and deliver works efficiently.
• 
  Conduct quality control checks and ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
• 
  Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support on-site.
• 
  Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and site documentation.
• 
  Communicate effectively with stakeholders, local authorities, and third parties to ensure smooth project progression.

• 
  Strong highways experience, including major roadworks.
• 
  Knowledge of S278 agreements, roundabouts, and major infrastructure projects.
• 
  Experience working with stakeholders, local authorities, and contractors.
• 
  CSCS certification required; SMSTS/SSSTS preferred.
• 
  Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• 
  Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
