Nursery Manager

The Organisation
Our client enables those with disabilities, their families, and their carers to lead fulfilling lives.
They offer a diverse range of services for all ages and abilities.
They are now looking for a Nursery Manager to join them on a full-time basis, working term-time only (40 weeks), 36 hours per week.
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract, commencing 1st September 2025 until 31st August 2026.

The Role
As the Nursery Manager, you will lead a warm, welcoming nursery environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish.
You'll oversee the daily running of the nursery, guiding a team of dedicated practitioners and ensuring that every child receives exceptional care and enriching learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
Providing strong, compassionate leadership to your team, you will support them in the delivery of high-quality early years education while fostering a safe, stimulating, and inclusive setting.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage the service's budget to ensure efficient and sustainable operations
- Contribute to strategic planning in collaboration with senior leaders
- Maintain compliance with all relevant safeguarding and regulatory requirements
Please note, due to our client's open and collaborative working environment and the nature of their work with children and adults with disabilities, all office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.
About You
To be considered as a Nursery Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience leading a nursery or early years team
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and SEND frameworks
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- A good level of IT literacy
- At a minimum, a Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5+ desirable)
All staff are required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Please make it known if you are on the DBS update service.
