Animal Management Lecturer

We are seeking a dedicated Animal Management Lecturer who won't "horse around" when it comes to delivering high-quality teaching

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching across Animal Management and Welfare courses up to Level 3.
• Develop high-quality instructional materials and contribute to the growth of a new curriculum.
• Act as a personal tutor, providing pastoral support and guidance to learners.
• Promote attendance, progression, and achievement for all students.
• Support learners in accessing suitable work placements within the sector.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, team meetings, and quality improvement activities.

Essential Requirements

• A teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in animal science, zoology, veterinary science, or a related field (desired but not essential).
• Previous teaching experience within Further Education.
• Industry experience within the animal management sector or similar environment.
• GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2) in Maths and English.
