Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the world of logistics? We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in hazardous materials and temperature-sensitive freight. They are seeking a dedicated Air Freight Operations Clerk to join their dynamic team in Hounslow, London!

About the Role:

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where you will play a crucial part in coordinating air freight operations. You will ensure the smooth transportation of goods while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Fully based on-site in Hounslow
Driver's License Required: Some work may be field-based, such as collecting cargo from the airport.
Physical Requirement: The role may involve some light lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage air freight import and export operations for hazardous materials and temperature-sensitive goods.
• Process and handle documentation with precision, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Coordinate customs clearance to facilitate smooth shipments.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records and shipment documentation for regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in air freight operations (import/export).
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling and customs procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• A valid driver's license (as some duties involve field-based tasks).
