Our client, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, based in the city of London are now seeking a Head of Logistics for a major project.

This is a lead role working for a leading contractor who are making great strides in the main contracting market at the moment on some very impressive projects in London. They now require a very experienced Head of Logistics to work on a major scheme.

This head of logistics will be reporting into the Project Director and will ideally have over 10 years experience in a similar role. This is a strategic role overseeing a combination of logistics suppliers or an in house team of logistics managers and operatives.

The head of logistics will be responsible for all logistics on a major project which will be in excess of 500million. Looking for someone who can stratergize and implement efficient logistics to support the build programme.

The head of logistics will have experience of large volumes of transport and materials - consolidations centres and JIT logistics.

This person will also have commercial acumen to manage commercial aspects of logistics and drive best value - manage resource against the plan. They will also oversee key materials and all plant on site in conjunction with the construction team.
