Branch Assistant

Rexel UK are looking for a Branch Assistant to join our Balham Branch, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.

As a Branch Assistant, you will be supporting across the team with carrying out Customer support, Warehouse & Driving duties, from serving customers on the Trade Counter, taking phone calls about stock availability, Quotes or Orders, to picking & packing customer orders ready for collection or delivery.

Ideally, you will an electrical wholesale background, with the ability to support in sales activities and ensure a great service is provided for every single customer.

What we are looking for you be a Branch Assistant:

• Customer Service: Experience working in a customer facing role, building strong customer relationships and able to demonstrate great service provided for repeat business.
• Sales Support: Supporting the sales team by ensuring product availability and assisting with customer inquiries.
• Communication: The ability to ask questions and provide information effectively across different stakeholders e.g. Colleagues, customers & Suppliers.
• Stock Management: Experience from a Retail or wholesale stock environment, with proven ability to pick & Pack orders or to book in and organise goods in to store/branch. Assisting in the management of branch stock, including daily profiling requests and monthly stock adjustments.

For insurance reasons you must hold a valid in-date Full UK Drivers Licence and over 21 with no more than 3 points on licence.
