Temporary Works Design Engineer

Central London (EC2)

50,000 to 55,000 + bens

There aren't many jobs where the structures you design might end up as tourist attractions.

But by working on the design of the temporary works for some of London's most iconic projects, that's exactly what you'll get.

Projects that make the headlines and form the basis of future case studies, where detailed temporary works design is crucial. Every project contains most of these elements and therefore represents a genuine challenge where innovation is at the forefront.

You'll be involved in intricate cut & carve elements, sensitive fa ade retention, multi-level basement temporary works, logistical challenges that are par for the course, as well as cutting edge methodology for sustainability.

The company is a specialist engineering contractor. They're expanding, and so is their design team. Now's the perfect time to join and take your share of future success.

What you'll be up to:

You'll be based at the head office in London EC2, but there will be some travel to sites.

You'll be working closely with project teams on site, so you'll have the opportunity to communicate your design thinking clearly and effectively throughout the construction process.

Because you'll have a strong grasp of temporary works principles, particularly on urban, multi-phased builds, you'll know exactly what's required.

There'll also be fantastic career development opportunities within the group, as they continue to grow.
