Roles/Responsibilities
- Oversee the Finance Department, ensuring professional and efficient service across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax, audit, and end-of-year reporting.
- Manage accounting, VAT, CIS, and payroll software to optimize efficiency.
- Prepare and present management reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Develop and implement improved financial processes and reporting systems.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payment processing and aged debt control.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members to enhance performance and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal managers and external stakeholders.
- Support the Finance Director in strategic financial planning and business initiatives.
- Uphold the integrity of financial data and ensure all reporting is accurate and compliant.
Qualifications
- AAT or ACCA professional qualification required.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven managerial experience in a finance role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial data.
- Desirable: Experience with Xero and QuickBooks accounting software.
