Roles/Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance Department, ensuring professional and efficient service across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax, audit, and end-of-year reporting.
• Manage accounting, VAT, CIS, and payroll software to optimize efficiency.
• Prepare and present management reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Develop and implement improved financial processes and reporting systems.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payment processing and aged debt control.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members to enhance performance and accountability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal managers and external stakeholders.
• Support the Finance Director in strategic financial planning and business initiatives.
• Uphold the integrity of financial data and ensure all reporting is accurate and compliant.

Qualifications

• AAT or ACCA professional qualification required.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven managerial experience in a finance role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial data.
• Desirable: Experience with Xero and QuickBooks accounting software.
