My client, a well-established Structural and Civil Engineering consultancy based in Sevenoaks, Kent, is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their expanding practice. With a strong reputation in the industry since 1987, they are one of the largest consultancies in the country, boasting a team of 46 professionals and a diverse portfolio of clients and projects.

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated structural engineer with 3-5 years of post-graduate experience to contribute to a dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a wide range of challenging and exciting projects within a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• 3-5 years of structural design office experience.
• Proficiency in designing with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
• Ability to prepare hand calculations and use relevant structural design software (experience with Tekla Structural Designer or similar is advantageous).
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• General computer literacy is essential.
• Actively working towards IStructE or ICE Chartership.
