Interim Test Lead - Application and User Migration Project

Location: Central London

Contract role: 6 months

A leading global FTSE-listed organisation is seeking an experienced Test Lead in User and Application Migration to join their team. Based in Central London with hybrid working options, this role is Outside IR35.

The successful candidate will manage a user migration project for the integration of an acquired company and have a proven track record in O365 migration projects, large M&A integrations, and experience working in global companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination of test resources across all the test plans.
  • Assure and support workstream test plans to identify resource pinch points.
  • Provide guidance and templates for entry & exit criteria.
  • Define, manage and train test tool.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage resources effectively to optimise project outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional internal and external teams to achieve project goals.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to an overall technical integrated plan, working closely with workstream lead managers (ITSM, Cyber, Communications, hosting, integration & applications).

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years proven experience in Test Management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience working in global companies, preferably within the technology or IT sector.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage test teams.
  • Experience in User Migrations/O365 Migrations is essential.
  • Experience performing test management in the Application Migration Space: SAP, Azure Integration Services, Oracle DW.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
