About the Role

Role Summatry

Purpose: Work with the Asset Investment Team to deliver initiatives that will lower the carbon footprint of TCH, make TCH properties more thermally efficient and lower the cost in use for our residents.

Salary: £36,142

Hours of Work: 35

Contract: Permanent

Probation Period: 6 Months

Notice Period: 1 Month

What will you be doing?

Role Specific Responsibilities

Maximise grant funding through liaison with funding bodies for energy efficiency works on our homes as well as sourcing external funding for research on resource efficiency. This will include writing funding applications.

Be the TCH point of contact for funding bodies where ongoing monitoring is required and provide data and other information to them when necessary.

Provide a resident liaison role as part of energy efficiency projects conducted by TCH.

Raise resident awareness about the benefits of sustainability.

Embed a culture within TCH that raises awareness amongst staff about being more sustainable and helping TCH lower it s carbon footprint.

Work with consultants to provide TCH with a baseline carbon footprint, and work with departments within TCH to lower this footprint year on year.

Apply to HACT to receive carbon credits for any qualifying energy efficiency work delivered by TCH.

Ensure that the CROHM database and Integrator are kept up to date.

Research initiatives and support property teams to deliver an energy retrofit programme aimed at achieving EPC band C in TCH homes by 2030. This will include assessing the impact of pilot projects using new technologies to help achieve our targets.

Manage the TCH solar PV portfolio ensuring that the systems are working to expected efficiencies and ensure that TCH is compliant in returning data to OFGEM to receive RHI/FIT payments.

Support stakeholders in the delivery of TCH s Sustainability Strategy objectives relating to new and existing homes, facilities and operations, supply chain and green space management.

Provide energy efficiency KPI s on request

Provide energy efficiency advice to TCH residents

Promote a one team philosophy in the management of projects.

Ensure customer satisfaction data is obtained and act on all negative variances.

Manage customer complaints and undertake a lessons learned review.

Represent TCH at meetings, seminars, workshops and the like.

This role will involve visiting other offices and stock and you will be required to have your own car and full driving licence.

Education & Qualification:

Education to degree level or equivalent (Desirable)
