An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Chessington, South West London, from January 2026.

This post is available on a fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

• Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development.

• Support the school's commitment to raising achievement and promoting a positive learning environment.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level.

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• Be committed to inclusive teaching and able to engage a diverse range of learners, including those who may present additional challenges.

• Have the legal right to work in the UK (the school is unable to offer sponsorship).
