We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to impactful projects within the UK water sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure (Trunk Mains, Distribution Mains, strategic connections) and non-infrastructure projects (production site civils and structural alterations), delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.

Our client, a well-established UK-based consultancy, is known for delivering engineering excellence across frameworks with Thames Water, Affinity Water, and Southern Water. Project Leadership:

• Manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and adherence to budget.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams to achieve successful results.

Client Engagement:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and delivering tailored solutions.

Collaborative Working:

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.
• Foster a cooperative and inclusive environment to deliver seamless project execution.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all deliverables meet the highest industry standards.

Innovation and Sustainability:

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and advancements in the industry.
• Contribute to sustainable engineering practices and innovative project approaches.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in the water sector, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status (or working towards) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• A commitment to safety, sustainability, and maintaining high standards of engineering excellence.
