Finance Systems Analyst with proven experience in (D365).
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Finance Systems Analyst with proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Familiarity with SUN systems is highly desirable. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation, integrity, and continuous improvement of our finance systems, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all finance system-related queries and issue resolution, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Troubleshoot routine system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and document more complex cases.
- Action stakeholder change requests in line with the Chart of Accounts design framework, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Act as the custodian of finance systems, maintaining data integrity and supporting the development of robust system controls.
- Manage and update approval workflows within the D365 purchase order system, ensuring alignment with Financial Regulations.
- Maintain and update user accounts and security profiles, ensuring correct access levels and adherence to the Authorised Signatory List.
- Support month-end processes and monitor scheduled system jobs and interfaces to ensure alignment with the reporting calendar.
- Maintain and update finance system procedure manuals and deliver training to staff on system usage and new configurations.
- Proactively support users in maximising system functionality and efficiency.
- Document and track user queries and resolutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function, including setting delivery standards and supporting training needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) in a finance systems role is essential.
- Experience with SUN systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, system controls, and data integrity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in managing approval workflows, user access, and system configurations.
- Strong documentation and training skills, with a proactive approach to user support and system optimisation.
