Learning Support Assistant (1:1)

About the RoleWe are seeking Learning Support Assistants at both primary and secondary levels to join a specialist independent school for children and young people aged 5-18 with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The school is rated "Good" with "Outstanding" features by Ofsted and offers a nurturing, autism-specific environment where every pupil is supported to thrive.

What We're Looking For

• Qualifications: Level 2/3 NVQ in Learning Support or willingness to work towards it; Youth Worker qualification desirable
• Skills: Strong literacy and numeracy, effective communication with learners and families, patience, and positive behaviour management
• Experience: Prior experience with ASD learners is desirable but not essential
• Attitude: Motivated, compassionate, and committed to supporting students with special needs
