This role is to join an established building services design consultancy who cover a range of project types including education, heritage, offices, hospitals, local authority and data centres.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a design team delivering detailed design
• Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress
• Ensuring services conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards
• Production drawings under the direction of Engineers
• Assisting with the checking of documents and carrying out detailed calculations
• Undertaking duties as indicated by your team leader to obtain experience and training in mechanical engineering
• Attend a wide range of meetings including client, design team and site with a more senior engineer to develop your experience.

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree / HND / HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, preferred although not essential
• Some UK based experience in mechanical building services design.
• Confident user of a range of design software.
• An enthusiasm for continued learning and development
