Accounts Assistant - Part Time

Part-time - Finance Assistant - 3 Months - TEMPORARY CONTRACT

Maidstone, Kent

We are recruiting for a part time Temporary Finance Assistant for a forward thinking, innovative organisation based in Maidstone.

Working closely with the accounts lead, you will be experienced in Xero and have the ability to work steadily through a high-volume workload. Process driven, this role will need a worker with a keen eye for detail who is happy to get on with the job in hand.

This role provides an opportunity to work for an employer who are a market leader in their field.

Duties include:

• Using Xero
• Processing invoices
• Assist in day to day finance administration
• Responsible for processing a high volume of invoicing
• Paying suppliers in line with terms
• Create invoices and enter in Xero
• Liaise with suppliers, resolving queries
• One-off tasks as required such as chasing debtors

This is an office based role working approximately 17 hours a week across four days.

Suitable candidates will need to have previous experience in a similar role and will preferably have used Xero. In return, the company are offering an opportunity to work for a niche sector market leader with welcoming staff and a vibrant office.
