Electrical Shift Engineer

We're excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a long-established and highly regarded building services provider, based on a prestigious site near Liverpool Street. This is a standout position for an engineer looking to join a stable, professional maintenance team with clear opportunities for progression and ongoing training.

In this role, you'll be responsible for both Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical systems. You'll ensure all equipment and building systems operate efficiently and remain compliant with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled PPM and respond to reactive maintenance requests
• Work on Single & Three Phase Power systems, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, Pumps, and BMS
• Safely isolate and reinstate plant equipment as required
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate site records, including RAMS and logbooks
• Operate and manage jobs through the PDA system
• Act as a point of contact for client queries on-site
• Promote safe working practices at all times

Candidate Requirements:

• Electrically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial building maintenance
• Strong understanding of M&E plant and building systems
• Proactive, professional, and able to work independently
• Must live within a commutable distance of Liverpool Street

Salary & Benefits:

• £52,000 - £55,000 per annum
