The Quality First Education Trust is seeking a Teacher of French teacher to join us in September 2025.
You will deliver specialist modern foreign language (MFL) provision, teaching French to children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6) at our Primary School. All classes have a French lesson every week.
We are open to applicants seeking part time hours.
You will:
• Be an excellent teacher, using a range of strategies to meet children's needs.
• Be fluent in French and English, with great subject knowledge and an understanding of the wider Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
• Set targets for children's learning, assess, record and report on their achievements, and use this information to inform your planning and teaching.
• Develop, adapt and enhance our French curriculum, lesson plans and teaching resources to ensure they are of the highest quality.
• Come up with exciting ideas to ensure our French learning is engaging, ambitious, relevant and nurturing
You will get the chance to really think about what makes for great teaching. You will also become a better teacher even if you think you are an 'old hand'! There is the possibility of teaching Year 7 through to Year 11. Our behaviour systems are so consistently well-managed that, instead of worrying about low-level disruption, you are able to try out what works best for the pupils you are teaching. The relationships you can forge with pupils are exceptional.
There will be a lot of opportunities for promotion, and we invest in the development of our people. There are a variety of people who teach here, all of them friendly and welcoming. Don't think you are not good enough. We would love to hear from you. You have nothing to lose by applying.
