Mechanical Estimator

Mechanical Estimator A leading SME HVAC and Building Services contractor, established for over 20 years is looking to invest in their M&E projects team, to develop the M&E Project business of full small M&E fitouts within Healthcare, Local Authority, Finance, Corporate Commercial, on commercial properties within the M25 area, with an annual turnover exceeding 20million and a rapidly expanding their portfolio, have a Key requirement for a Mechanical Estimator The Successful Mechanical Estimator will be:

• Mechanical Estimator will send enquiries to manufacturers and sub-contractors via emails and/or obtain quotations via email or telephone
• Mechanical Estimator will keep enquiries' status updated within the tender review document (value, dates, contact point etc),
• Mechanical Estimator will print and/ or send for printing the tender drawings and other tender documents
• Mechanical Estimator will file and organise the above documents
• Mechanical Estimator to have the ability to understand BOQ's and Drawings for take off
• Mechanical Estimator will benefit from a basic salary of up to 70k dependent on experience + 22 days holiday plus BH + Bonus scheme after passing successful probation period + car allowance

The successful Mechanical Estimator would have:

• Mechanical Estimator will have experience producing accurate and detailed cost proposals
• Mechanical Estimator will need to have strong IT skills, including but not limited to Excel
• Mechanical Estimator will be a commutable distance of Dartford
• Mechanical Estimator will have worked in FM Hard services sector

Mechanical Estimator will benefit from a basic salary of up to 70k dependent on experience + 22 days holiday plus BH + Bonus scheme after successful probation period + car allowance
