Maintenance Assistant - Temporary (6 Months approximately)£14.62 per hour 37.5 hours per week Croydon-based with travel across South LondonYour new companyYou'll be joining a well-established housing association dedicated to providing safe, well-managed supported accommodation across South London. The organisation is committed to meeting its landlord obligations, particularly around health and safety, compliance, and estate services, ensuring residents live in secure and welcoming environments. Your new roleAs a Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and quality of our supported housing schemes. You'll carry out regular health and fire safety checks, monitor estate services such as cleaning and gardening, and liaise with residents, contractors, and support providers to resolve maintenance issues promptly. This is a highly resident-facing role, requiring daily travel across Croydon, Sutton, Bromley, and Orpington, with regular office attendance in Croydon.Providing additional support if required for residents with Mental Health and learning disabilities. With a busy area you will need to be reactive and have a can do attitude. What you'll need to succeed

• A Full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle with valid MOT and business insurance
• Strong communication skills and a professional, empathetic approach to working with vulnerable residents
