Interim Individual Giving Manager:
The Talent Set is delighted to be partnering with a respected charity providing outstanding care in the community. They are seeking an experienced Interim Individual Giving Manager to lead their Individual Giving team for a 3-month period.
This role will drive the delivery of integrated direct marketing campaigns across appeals, in-memory giving, and regular giving income streams. You will also line manage two team members and support the Head of Individual Giving with lottery income generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Individual Giving strategy to achieve income targets across appeals, in-memory, and regular giving.
- Lead on the planning, development, and execution of multi-channel direct marketing campaigns (direct mail, telemarketing, digital, face-to-face).
- Produce emotive, inspiring copy for fundraising appeals and supporter communications.
- Manage third-party canvasser relationships to deliver regular giving targets and ensure compliance.
- Provide high-quality stewardship for supporters to maximise engagement and retention.
- Line manage, motivate, and support the Individual Giving team, conducting appraisals and setting objectives.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting for appeals, in-memory, and regular giving.
- Support legacy and lottery marketing activity in collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving.
- Drive innovation by keeping up to date with sector trends and identifying new fundraising opportunities.
Person Specification:
- Significant experience delivering successful individual giving programmes with a strong track record of meeting income targets.
- Direct marketing experience across multiple channels, including face-to-face fundraising campaigns.
- Experience producing compelling fundraising copy for diverse audiences.
- Proven budget management and strategic planning skills.
- Confident line manager with experience inspiring and developing staff.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Donorflex) and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of in-memory and legacy giving programmes.
- Understanding of lottery acquisition and retention strategies.
- Awareness of current trends in individual giving fundraising.

- Fully hybrid working pattern with 2-days per-week in the charity s Kent Office.
- A day rate of £150.20 per-day + £18.69 daily holiday for the successful candidate.
