Mechanical Engineer

We've got an excellent role for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a high end site based in East London! This is a fantastic role if you're looking to join a rapidly growing building service provider, well renowned for their staff retention rate through internal progression and on-going training.

This is a static role, following a Monday - Friday schedule (8am -5pm).

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, diagnose faults, respond to emergencies, update logbooks, liaise with contractors and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided.

Mechanical Engineer Duties:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• AHUs and FCUs
• Pumps (including bearings and mechanical seals)
• Cooling towers
• Chilled water systems
• Heat exchangers
• Pressurisation units
• Plumbing and domestic water systems
• Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
• Tap temperature monitoring
• Generators
• BMS operation
• CRAC units
• Motors

Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• Level 2 minimum in a mechanical related subject (C&G / EAL / NVQ or hgiher)
• At least 3 years experience within commercial building maintenance
• Apprentice trained - Desirable, not essential
• Client facing
• Live within commutable distance to Canary Wharf

Salary and Package:

• £47,000 - £50,000 per annum
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
