Science Teacher

An outstanding secondary school in Haringey is currently seeking a passionate and creative Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics, who is committed to raising achievement, enhancing pupil engagement, and delivering outstanding lessons. About the roleThis is a full-time position starting in September 2025. You will be expected to deliver well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, with a particular focus on Physics. Strong classroom and behaviour management are essential.

The school is committed to developing well-rounded, high-achieving students through a broad and balanced curriculum. You will join a highly supportive and collaborative Science department that shares best practice and invests in professional development through an excellent internal CPD programme.

This position is initially offered as a 1-year contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience teaching Science, with a specialism in Physics, at Key Stage 3 and GCSE

• A strong track record of progress and attainment

• The ability to inspire, challenge, and engage students

• Availability for interview and observation

• A proactive and collaborative teaching style
