A well-established and reputable accountancy practice based in Essex is seeking an experienced Audit Senior Contractor to support their busy audit team. The firm is known for its high standards, collaborative culture, and commitment to delivering excellent client service.
Your new role
As an Audit Senior, you will lead audit engagements from planning through to completion. You'll be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, reviewing the work of junior staff, and ensuring audits are delivered accurately and on time. This is a full-time, office-based role, with occasional travel to client sites. All client locations are within a
50-mile radius of the office, ensuring manageable travel and consistent team collaboration.
What you'll need to succeed

ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong audit and accounts preparation experience within practice

Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail

Confident communicator with a proactive approach

Ability to manage deadlines and mentor junior team members
