SEN Learning Support Assistant

We're currently looking for an enthusiastic, SEN specialist Learning Support Assistant to work full time with a student with severe Autism in a primary school in Dagenham.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we're looking for more high-quality, SEN specialist Learning Support Assistants to work with these schools to positively impact the progress and attainment of their pupils.

• Working 121 with children with severe Autism

• Working with non-verbal children using Makaton and PECS to communicate

• Providing intervention support with tailored lessons

• Providing personal care for ASD children who are in need of toiletting support

• Working with children who display challenging behaviours

• support for EYFS, KS1 & KS2 students

• Experience working with primary aged children with severe learning difficulties including Autism

• Knowledge of PECS or Makaton to communicate with non-verbal children

• Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils

• Experience working with children who display challenging behaviours
