About the Agency:
We are a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing qualified and experienced childcare professionals in nurseries across Essex. Due to increasing demand, we are looking for a Supply Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our pool of talented candidates for temporary assignments in the Chelmsford area.

As a supply nursery nurse, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of nurseries, gaining valuable experience in different environments while enjoying the flexibility to choose your working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality childcare and support children's development in line with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
• Assist with daily nursery routines, including play, learning, and nap times.
• Create a nurturing and engaging environment for children.
• Help observe, assess, and record children's progress.
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety guidelines are always followed.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to meet the needs of children and their families.
• Provide support to permanent staff during busy periods or staff absences.

Key Requirements:

• Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, BTEC).
• Previous experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures.
• Flexibility and adaptability, as the role will involve working at various nurseries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for working with children.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
