About the Finishing Operative (Rumbling) Role

As a Finishing Operative (Rumbling), you will be responsible for a variety of finishing and inspection operations, including:

• Operating barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment
• Preparing metallic surfaces for further processing, such as anodising and passivation
• Masking components to ensure bores, holes, and slots are free from abrasive media
• Undertaking inspection of parts
• Packing parts for internal transport and storage
• Interpreting part numbers, drawing issue numbers, relevant ADRs, process specifications, and finishes

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for the Finishing Operative (Rumbling) role will have:

• A basic understanding of measuring equipment
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations related to hazardous substances
• A basic manufacturing or engineering background
