Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and caring Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join a vibrant and supportive team in a mainstream creche within a special educational needs school in Hackney. The role is ideal for someone passionate about early years education and supporting children with a range of needs. As a Childcare Practitioner, you will work closely with young children to support their development, learning, and wellbeing in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to children in the creche setting
• Support children with additional learning needs, ensuring a tailored approach to their development
• Create and implement age-appropriate learning activities and support children in their learning journey
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on children's progress and wellbeing
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care

Person Specification:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferably in an SEN or early years setting
• A nurturing and empathetic approach to working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to the needs of the children
