About the Role

• NVQ in Carpentry and Joinery would be advantageous

About the Candidate

• Excellent joinery experience
• Ability to work with high-end materials to construct cabinetry and other bespoke products
• Experience in a wood workshop is preferred, but not essential
• Should possess an understanding of woodworking machinery such as a panel saw, spindle moulder, sander and other hand tools
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Ability to measure accurately
• An understanding of the installation process would be beneficial, as installation work on site may be required from time to time
• Should be willing and able to travel and carry out site installations (this would not be a regular requirement, but may be needed from time to time)
• Must be tidy and organised and keep work area well maintained
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• Be flexible and willing to do overtime to complete a job if required
