Agile Project Manager

We're keen to speak to seasoned IT Project Managers about a new role we have with a Financial Services client in Central London.

Please note this role is outside IR35 and will require onsite attendance twice a week.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies to lead the successful delivery of a fresh technology project. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and driving continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of an IT project (from scratch) using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Build, coach, and support Agile teams, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (user stories, stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets to ensure project success.
• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, developers, QA, and external partners.
• Work with Salesforce to cover business wide delivery and changes
• Track and report on project progress, ensuring timely communication of status and escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes and team performance.
• Ensure IT project outcomes align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally delivering projects in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and IT delivery processes.
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Agile) preferred.
