Weekend Live-In Carer - Companionship & Light Household SupportBrentwood, Essex

We are looking for a kind and dependable live-in carer to support a gentleman in his 70s who lives independently in his own home. This is primarily a companionship-based role, with some help around the house to keep things running smoothly.

Shift:

• From Friday lunchtime to Monday lunchtime

• Ideally every weekend, but open to every other weekend for the right person

About the Role:Our client enjoys a calm home environment, watching sports and old comedy shows. He is looking for someone to provide company and light support, including:

• Cooking simple meals

• General cleaning and tidying

• Laundry, washing and ironing

• Taking him out for a short walk (weather and health permitting)

• Occasional assistance with daily routines (minimal personal care)

Accommodation:

• Private, comfortable bedroom

• All meals and utilities included during your stay

Ideal Candidate:

• Friendly, engaging, and trustworthy

• Able to cook basic meals and maintain a tidy home

• Enjoys chatting, going for walks, and offering companionship

• Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential

• Confident working independently and creating a warm, supportive atmosphere
